CONGRESSMAN MATT GAETZ TO HEADLINE MORGAN CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN RALLY
GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 16, 2024) – State Representative and Fourth Congressional District Candidate Adam Morgan today announced Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) will keynote a campaign rally Tuesday, April 23, at the Greenville Marriott (One Parkway E, Greenville) beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis will introduce Gaetz. Tickets are required for the free event and may be secured at Ticket Bud.
“I’m looking forward to welcoming Congressman Gaetz to South Carolina,” said Morgan. “Matt is a strong leader in Congress and I’m thankful to have his support, as well as several other conservative members of Congress, who are committed to consistently fighting for conservative ideals and winning.”
“Congress needs more America First warriors willing to fight the establishment, the uniparty and the special interests,” said Congressman Gaetz. “Adam Morgan is that warrior who will join me to fight the DC swamp to take back our country and restore our conservative values. I enthusiastically endorse his candidacy for South Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District and am excited to have him fighting with me soon for the country we love.”
Gaetz’ initial interest in the race came when he tweeted “we need better Republicans than this” after seeing video from the May 13, 2021, hearing of the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress where Congressman Timmons said, “Congress should be representative of the country, and then within Congress, every Member’s office should be representative of the people they represent. So it should be diverse based off of race, gender, geography, socioeconomic background, lifestyle, and it should be proportional based off of the population they represent.”
The Republican primary will be held Tuesday, June 11, with early voting beginning Tuesday, May 28.
